After a bunch of rumors and leaks, Samsung has finally announced the well-expected Galaxy Buds FE alongside the Galaxy S23 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, wrapping up its lineup of “Fan Edition” devices — one of Samsung’s most popular segments in several countries.
With its new earbuds, the South Korean company aims to bring its renowned audio experience to a broader audience, delivering deep and powerful bass, and high sound quality, allowing music enthusiasts to enjoy their favorite tracks the way they like the most.
Ergonomic design
The product is offered in Graphite and White colors and in terms of design it features the iconic and ergonomic look of the lineup, ensuring comfort during extended use. A big plus goes for the more customized fit, thanks to the different sizes of ear tips (3 sizes, in total) and two sizes of rubber adapters (wingtips).
ANC, Ambient Sound, and More
The new Galaxy Buds FE supports Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Ambient Sound, allowing users to select what they want to hear and block out any external noises; It sports an advanced three-microphone beamforming system for personalized automatic tuning.
AI is also present thanks to the incorporation of Deep Neural Network (DNN), able to separate the voice from unwanted background noise, enabling clearer calls. Bluetooth 5.2 is present for connectivity and the device includes the Auto Switch feature.
Battery
In a product like this, another important factor is the battery life, and, for that, Samsung promises up to 8.5 hours of playback, with a total of up to 30 hours (including the charging case). With ANC enabled, users can enjoy up to 6 hours of playback, and up to 21 hours when factoring in the case.
Availability and Price
The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE will be available in several markets around the world (of course, including the US), starting October 10. As for the price, they will be sold officially for $99. Check out more info about the new Samsung earbuds here.
